Geosoft GX Developer 7.0

Geosoft GX Developer by Geosoft is the official software development kit (SDK) for creating custom extensions, tools, and automated workflows for Oasis montaj and related Geosoft applications. It lets geoscience developers build compiled GX applications that run natively inside the Oasis montaj environment, extending its menus, dialogs, toolbars, and processing capabilities.

Key capabilities:

• Build custom GXs using C/C++ or .NET to call Geosoft’s processing functions and add new UI elements in Oasis montaj.
• Read, write, and manipulate Geosoft data formats, including GDB databases, grids, voxels, and maps, with full support for projections and coordinate systems.
• Automate batch processing, standardize workflows, and integrate with external systems (file I/O, web services, and databases).
• Leverage comprehensive documentation, sample projects, and debugging utilities to speed development.
• Designed for Windows and requires a licensed installation of Oasis montaj (and GX Developer).
